The municipality of Medulin is a coastal municipality located in the very south of the Istrian peninsula, with an area of 29.35 km2, with about 6,500 inhabitants in eight settlements located mainly along the coast. These are Medulin, Premantura, Banjole, Pomer, Vinkuran, Vintijan, Valbonaša and Pješčana Uvala.
The peak or point of Istria, as it is commonly called, belongs to one of the most tourist towns on the peninsula and one of the twenty most famous tourist destinations on the Adriatic - Medulin. Although rich in cultural past, with a recognizable church with two towers that rises above the place, today this city develops and lives exclusively according to the opinion of tourists, as evidenced by the accommodation potential of almost 5,000 beds.
