The municipality of Medulin is a coastal municipality located in the very south of the Istrian peninsula, with an area of 29.35 km2, with about 6,500 inhabitants in eight settlements located mainly along the coast. These are Medulin, Premantura, Banjole, Pomer, Vinkuran, Vintijan, Valbonaša and Pješčana Uvala.
The peak or point of Istria, as it is commonly called, belongs to one of the most tourist towns on the peninsula and one of the twenty most famous tourist destinations on the Adriatic - Medulin. The place itself can be easily seen from afar, because two white bell towers of the church of Sv. Agnes.
